Protecting Your WP Install From Brute Force Attacks Admin Login
« on: February 11, 2014, 01:50:02 AM »
The Brute force attacks have been occurring for some time. I had posted about it on the FB page sometime back in June. The attacks have subsided a bit but remain (just today a site I operate banned at least 200+ Ips due to bad login). The attack was first started so as to created a  building a “botnet” of infected computers. Of course the bad guys can do anything once they get into your install.

What do you do to protect your WP install. Feel free to share with other users how you guard against these types of attacks.
